In the electronics manufacturing industry, "SIR testing" is a sensitive test method for evaluating component failure caused by shorts or current leakage. It is used to rate fluxes, board cleanliness and how these wee metal bits perform in humidity. Well fine sir, you may not need your tie to do all that, but this is what the image did on your tie in its former life!
This print extends high up on the tie, approx. 17" (43cm) from the bottom point; perfect to peek out from under a vest or jacket.
LIMITED EDITION! As is the nature of vintage silkscreens, once these screens die, that's it. Not knowing the emulsion it was made with, they might hold up for a week, they might last for years!
